Introduction to Speech Writing

Preparing to deliver an important speech can be a very daunting affair, especially if you are preparing that speech for someone else. Speech writing requires skill, precision, confidence, preparation and professional expertise. With all this in mind, Parli-training has devised a specialist course aimed at all those responsible for speech writing. This course will provide you with the professional skills required to not only produce a competent performance, with supreme confidence and professional ease but also, provide you with the necessary knowledge to prepare somebody else to do the same.

Full of practical tips, the course informs participants of the substantial preparation required for all major speaking events. Constructive advice is offered on what to do, as well as pointers on what works best.

The course covers speech composition and analysis, guidance on drafting, presentation skills, breathing techniques and posture, voice projection and control as well as last minute practical advice, on how to calm nerves. All in all this one day course will enhance the ability to execute highly professional speeches.
