Remaining safe – Personal Safety Training for MPs & Caseworkers – Practical Course


Course Overview

This course provides professional guidance on how to minimise the risks involved when dealing with difficult and aggressive casework inquiries.

We run two versions of this course – a theory based course with a 30 minute practical session at the end. A full practically based course running from 10.30am -3.30pm which teaches self-defence techniques throughout the day.

Constituency based training available

We are now able to travel to your chosen location and deliver the course in your constituency.  All you need to do is book a date between January 2023 & August 2023. You need to book a minimum of 5 places for this service.  We will assist you in ensuring that you select an appropriately size venues and facilities for the training to take place.

Through the use of real life case studies, it will provide practical assistance on how to manage and deal more effectively with a variety of common case scenarios, providing delegates with a ‘user friendly’ guide on how to adopt good practice capable of not only, increasing confidence and awareness of this problem but also enhancing individuals’ capability to cope with this highly sensitive and difficult by-product of casework administration.

The theory based version of this course also provide a blueprint on how to confidently incorporate best practice security protocols within constituency offices and during open surgeries; as well as teach attendees how to manage procedure on a day to day basis and set up relevant safeguards to further enhance the level of personal security enjoyed by all staff working within the constituency.
