Former Minister Jackie Doyle-Price Joins Parli-training

Parli-training is delighted to announce that Jackie Doyle-Price, the former Minister of State for Industry, has joined our expert team as a senior contributor to our bespoke training course packages.

Jackie brings with her a distinguished record of public service and over a decade of front-line political experience as the Member of Parliament for Thurrock, a position she has held since 2010. Her time in government included a range of key ministerial roles, most notably:

  • Minister of State for Industry at the Department for Business and Trade, where she worked to support UK manufacturing and industrial growth;
  • Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health, Inequalities and Suicide Prevention—a pioneering post focused on improving the national mental health framework;
  • Earlier ministerial roles in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and the Cabinet Office.

Before entering Parliament, Jackie held senior roles in financial regulation and consumer protection, giving her unique insight into both the private and public sectors.

Jackie will now bring her first-hand experience of policy making, parliamentary procedure, and government decision-making to our clients. Her contributions will enhance our training  courses on public affairs, influencing government, effective communication with policymakers, and understanding the legislative process.

Her involvement marks an exciting expansion of our course offerings for those looking to improve their engagement with Parliament and government.

We look forward to working with Jackie to deliver fresh, practical, and politically-informed training to our clients across the UK and beyond.
