This month ( October 2025), Parli-training had the pleasure of delivering a specialist bespoke training course in Manchester for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) — a tailored training experience designed specifically around their organisational goals and priorities.
This was a highly prestigious appointment as the (GMCA) is one of the UK’s most influential regional governance bodies, bringing together ten local authorities under a directly elected Mayor to drive economic growth, public service reform, and devolution across Greater Manchester.
The session gave participants practical, insider insight into to engage more effectively with policy and decision-makers throughout the legislative process.
Delivered by one of Parli-Training’s expert parliamentary trainers, a former clerk of the House of Commons, the course combined real-world examples, interactive discussion, and strategic exercises to help participants build confidence in navigating Westminster and influencing policy outcomes.
